Jammies & Jingles and Firehouse Holiday Dinner

It’s that time of year again for Golden Apple ISU’s annual Jammies & Jingles and Firehouse Holiday Dinner! These are always our end of the fall semester events as we prepare for finals and say “see you later” until after winter break. They are both on Sunday, December 8th.

Jammies & Jingles: This year, there are only 10 spots available for Jammies & Jingles, our Community Service event for December where we volunteer at the Children’s Discovery Museum’s night of fun! Dress in your (appropriate) holiday jammies and head uptown to be Santa’s helper or guide children and their parents in making Christmas cookies or playing festive games. This is one event you don’t want to miss, so be one of the first 10 Gapples to claim a volunteer spot on our Facebook event in order to secure your participation. The event is from 5:30 to 8:30pm. Talk to Lydia Wilson or Alysa White with questions.

Firehouse Holiday Dinner: After Jammies & Jingles, ALL Gapples at ISU are welcome to enjoy a pizza dinner at Firehouse uptown near the museum (*NOTE: you do not have to volunteer to come to dinner! All are welcome!). Relax and enjoy food and pop on us and celebrate a successful semester together. We will also award the Gapple who has earned the most GA Points with their enthusiasm and participation in our RSO this semester. This dinner is from 8:30pm to 9:30pm (roughly) and you must RSVP to and comment on our Facebook event to ensure that we get enough seats, food, and pop for everyone. Ask an Exec Board member for details.

Can’t wait to see you all at dinner! Be sure to snag those volunteer spots before they’re gone. Good luck on finals, and Happy Holidays, Gapples!
